Professional advice on removing stains
-
Act fast for the best results. The fresher a stain, the easier it is to remove. When using a stain removal product, always follow the instructions on the packaging.
Warning: Washing and/or ironing may ‘fix’ stains in the fabric, making them impossible to remove.
-
Test for colour fastness. Apply some of the Stain Devil® solution to a clean white cloth then dab onto an inconspicuous area, such as an inside seam. None of the colour should transfer onto the white cloth. If the colour and structure of the fabric remains unaffected after allowing the solution to soak in briefly and then rinsing and drying the test area, you may proceed with the stain removal.
-
First remove any excess: blot liquid stains with white kitchen towel and carefully scrape off solid remnants using a blunt implement.
-
Place a clean, white cloth directly beneath the stain. Ensure that it does not become dislodged or the stain may spread. For heavy soiling, replace the cloth as many times as necessary.
-
Allow the product to soak in, but not until it dries.
